Accentedge Expands Summer Internship Program To Provide Jobs During COVID-19 Shutdown

Chicago, Illinois – In an effort to provide work opportunities to college students and recent graduates, accentedge LLC is tripling the size of its summer internship program.

“We wanted to do something to provide jobs at a time when companies are cutting back their workforce during COVID-19,” said Syed Alam, Founder and CEO of accentedge, “so we expanded the size of our summer internship program and set it up so our interns can work from home.”

Accentedge has hired nine Summer Interns who will be doing jobs involving digital technology research as well as digital marketing and design. The new interns include current college students as well as recent university graduates.

We are committed to providing a meaningful work experience for our interns and employees even while our physical offices are temporarily closed.”

Last month, accentedge announced a program to provide support for the 500 tech and start-up businesses based at 1871 Chicago. The initiative offers free work-from-home business software to help these companies be productive during the COVID-19 shutdown.

“This is the time for businesses to step up and help if they can and we are glad to do our part,” Alam said, “Our company was founded to help businesses securely communicate on a global level – we are seeing this ability to safely do business is needed now more than ever.”
